Grains of Salt - Dipl.eng. Kurt Thomanek

This work is an assemblage of the development of Austrian Saline, beginning in the middle of the 20^th century up until the present day in the new millennium. Drastic changes have taken place throughout this era like various technical revolutions and political and social caesuras. The story about the Austrian Saline PLC enterprise is also retrospective and presents a descriptive model of the economic history of the 2^nd republic. Dramatic changes, seemingly in more and more rapid succession and very characteristic of the 20th century, are apparent in the history of Saline Austria.
